Presidential Policy Directive 21 - Critical Infrastructure Security and Resilience

Presidential Policy Directive (PPD) 21 was signed in February 2013 by President Obama.

PPD 21 "advances a national unity of effort to strengthen and maintain secure, functioning, and resilient critical infrastructure."

To that end, PPD 21 directed four major policy initiatives:

	Critical Infrastructure Sectors	✔
	Update of National Infrastructure Protection Plan	✔
	National Cybersecurity and Communications Integration Center	✔
	Assignment of Agency Responsibilities	✔
